Missions

When Cornerstone Church was started, the vision was not to just plant one church but to be a part of a disciple-making, church-planting movement both locally and globally.

We believe the local church is the primary means by which God chooses to establish His kingdom on earth. By sharing the Word, speaking the Word, teaching the Word and serving people, we seek to be disciples of a multiplying church. As a church body, we are actively serving our neighbors here and around the world.

We desire to see God exalted in all his glory among all nations - even the hardest to reach places on Earth. As partnerships expanded, our focus has become these most unreached people groups in the world. It is estimated that over 7,000 people groups (approximately 3 billion people) don’t have access to the gospel of Christ. They cannot hear it spoken in their own language, in their own village.

This is why Cornerstone Church is partnered with the Acts 29 Network, International Mission Board and the Missionary Adoption Program. Locally, our partners work to share God’s story by serving to meet needs and sharing cross-culturally with those God has brought to Southeast Texas. Globally we are partnering with missionaries in Africa and Asia to take the gospel to these unreached people.
