Family Discipleship

Jesus intentionally invested in teaching and caring for children and we want to do likewise.

We offer a hospitable atmosphere that displays the love of Christ to all of our children. The links below describe our full ministry plan for families and children, but this page gives a general outline of what you can expect for our Sunday morning worship gatherings and the ministry offerings that are available to children and students.

Safety

Your child’s safety is extremely important to us. All of our volunteers have been assessed by the elder team and several of our ministry leaders have professional childcare experience.

Sunday Morning Discipleship

Curriculum

We utilize The Gospel Project's curriculum – a chronological plan that walks children through the entire Bible over the course of a few years.

Birth through Pre-K

During morning corporate worship preschool children attend a large group time with video lessons and music as well as participate in small group activities in their classrooms – see the Kids Discipleship Packet for more information. Check-in begins at 10:15 in the Cornerstone Kids building. This is the building directly behind the main building and there is signage to help you find it! Please enter in the door with the large Cornerstone Kids sign next to it.

Kindergarten through High School

We prefer that all children in kindergarten and above join us in the worship gathering! For a more detailed look into why that is, please see the Family Discipleship Packet. But in summary, we sincerely believe that it is crucial and beneficial for all ages to worship together as a faith family. It is beneficial for the church overall, and most importantly for your children. If this is new to you, or makes you nervous, do not worry! You will find a grace-filled church that loves little ones, which means any possible distractions are seen as small compared to the joy of having them with us.

To build friendships and discipleship among this age group, we also offer the following discipleship classes and a monthly hang out to gather them together. Our aim is to come alongside families and encourage students to know and rejoice in the gospel, experience biblical community, and live compassionately on-mission for Jesus.
